PAST EVENTS - VETERANS FIRST, INC.
Chesterfest 2009 was a great success. Veterans First members provided a banner for festival
attenders
to sign in support of our troops. Veterans First collected money
through quartermaster sales and individual donations to help our
homeless vets.
Thanks to everyone who helped and attended, it was a great day.

On June 13, 2009 Veterans First Inc. held it's second annual Poker Run
to raise money for our homeless veterans community. We started with
breakfast and registration at Bubba's restaurant and headed out to
Southern Star, Lakeside Tavern and O'banks restaurant. Along
the route there was a lot good food, good drink and good fun. We
ended the Run at Bubba's where we held a bake sale, auctions and door
prizes, etc. in an effort to raise money for the cause. The event was a
great success! The money raised will make a nice contribution over the
next year for veterans in need. We would like to thank everyone
involved for their fellowship, time and donations.
